Momentum continues to build at Highland Walloon, with significant construction progress across both Stage 1 and Stage 2 as this new community steadily comes to life.
A key highlight on site is the estate’s first community park, which is now approaching completion. Landscaping works are in their final stages, including turf installation, planting and finishing touches, with the park expected to open soon.
Designed as a central meeting place for future residents, the park will feature modern playground equipment, expansive green spaces, landscaped surrounds and shaded areas, creating a welcoming environment to relax, connect and enjoy the outdoors.
Stage 2 construction continues to progress well. Stormwater installation works have been underway throughout the stage, supporting long-term drainage and water management across the development.
Retaining wall construction has also continued during this period, helping shape the future streetscape and prepare the land for the next phase of infrastructure and road works. These structural elements are an important part of the community’s design, ensuring the land is carefully prepared for future homes and public spaces.
Lennium Development Manager Ian Worthington said it was encouraging to see steady progress across multiple areas of the site.
“Behind every new neighbourhood is a huge amount of planning and infrastructure work happening below the surface,” he said.
“Each of these milestones represents another step forward in delivering a well-considered, high-quality community.
“With key services now live and construction progressing across both stages, it’s exciting to see Highland Walloon continuing to take shape.”
We look forward to sharing further updates as new milestones are reached in the coming weeks.
