Highland Walloon on Track for First Settlements in November

7 July 2025

Construction at Highland Walloon is progressing rapidly, with the project on schedule to reach its first settlements by November 2025.

Favourable weather over recent months has enabled major civil works to advance at pace. Upgrades to Taylors Road are well underway, with sewer works completed and stormwater infrastructure now being installed. Base slab pours for the culverts on Kinross Drive have been finalised, with culvert placement and sealing scheduled to follow.

Retaining walls and bulk earthworks are nearing completion across the initial stages, with more than 100 home sites forecast to be delivered by late October.

Lennium Group’s delivery partner, Shadforth Civil, is now preparing to commence installation of services across the site, while waterway earthworks are already underway.

Located in Walloon, just 15 minutes from Ipswich, Highland Walloon is a masterplanned community designed for modern family living. The development will deliver around 900 new homes on larger-than-average lots (approx. 500m²), with many homesites enjoying elevated positions and scenic mountain views.

Lennium Group Development Manager Ian Worthington said the team was pleased with the pace of progress.

“We’ve had a great run of dry weather, which has allowed our contractors to stay ahead of schedule,” he said.

“It’s exciting to see Highland Walloon coming to life. This will be one of the most desirable communities in the region, offering generous lots, well-considered streetscapes, open green spaces, and long-term value for residents.”

With strong demand for house and land packages, the first residents are expected to move in during early 2026.
