Highland Walloon to host region’s biggest Display Village

28 January 2026

Highland Walloon is set to become home to the Bremer Valley’s largest display home village, with plans confirmed for an 18-home showcase to open in partnership with Master Builders Queensland.

The Highland Walloon Display Village will feature homes from 12 of Queensland’s most recognised builders, creating a major new destination for home buyers seeking inspiration, design ideas and build confidence in one central location.

Builders participating in the village include Simonds, Bold Living, Mayde, Burbank, Hudson Homes, Creation Homes, Stroud Homes, Zoom, Dare, Foundary Co, G.J. Gardener, and Australian Building Co. Each builder will present brand new home designs tailored specifically for the Ipswich west and Bremer Valley market.

Highland Walloon Development Manager Ian Worthington said the Display Village would raise the bar for residential development in the region.

“This will be the biggest single showcase of new homes ever built in the Bremer Valley, with 18 different designs all in one place,” Ian said.

“We know buyers are looking for more space, affordable packages and homes that suit their lifestyle, and this display village will deliver exactly that.”

The Display Village is currently forecast to open in October 2026.

Once complete, Highland Walloon will deliver approximately 900 new homes, supported by landscaped parklands, walking trails and a range of modern amenities designed to support growing families and long-term community living.

Demand for the community has remained strong since its launch earlier this year, with close to 150 home and land packages already sold and new releases continuing to attract strong interest.

Master Builders Queensland CEO Paul Bidwell said the Display Village would provide significant value for buyers in the region.

“Home buyers will be spoiled for choice with 18 homes to explore, each reflecting the latest in design and construction from some of Queensland’s most respected builders,” he said.

“This is going to be an amazing resource for people who want to see what’s possible before they build their own home in this fast-growing region.”

With construction progressing and buyer demand continuing to build, the Highland Walloon Display Village is set to become a significant addition to both the community and the wider Bremer Valley region.
